Sound

Modeling Technology

The Phoenix piano uses innovative full physical modeling technology, whereby the notes played on the keyboard are created in real time, just like on an acoustic piano, rather than being played back from a database of sampled sounds, as is the case in the digital piano industry. As a result, the sound of each note played is unique and personal, reflecting the emotion and playing intention of each pianist.
This technique opens up much more sophisticated sound possibilities than sampling, as well as the ability to shape the sound through a wide range of adjustment parameters.

Exceptional richness and power of sound

Thanks to physical modeling combined with high-end electronics and the power of real-time algorithmic calculations, each sound responds to every nuance of the pianist's performance.

Enhanced by a premium quality chain, the dynamic range and superb resonance are revealed in infinite expressive power.

A projection capacity without saturation

Two 13 cm 2-way coaxial speakers (midrange/treble) with a power of 120W max (60 rms) and a subwoofer of 180W max (120 rms) accentuate the three-dimensional feeling of the sound when projected.

Roundness and power of the bass, balance of the midrange, smoothness and clarity of the treble, the variety of timbres and the very realistic dynamics of the Phoenix transport you instantly into the sound world of the concert grand piano.

Subwoofer 180W max

Integrated in the console, it contributes to the power and projection of the sound and more particularly to the depth and roundness of the bass.

When the console is folded, the subwoofer is enclosed in the cabinet and effectively protected during transport.

Unlimited customization

In the world of acoustic pianos, a technician can work on the instrument to modify the tuning, adjustment, and harmonization. All these parameters and many others are also accessible with the "My Phoenix" app, and demanding and imaginative musicians can configure the Phoenix's sound and musical color to suit their personality, the constraints of the concert venue, or the works being performed.
With the intuitive "My Phoenix" app, you can select one of our many existing presets or customize multiple parameters to your liking, which you can then save (with no limit on configurations).
Examples of adjustable parameters include tuning, temperament, velocity, brightness, tone, hammer strike, key friction, damper lift, sympathetic resonance, soundboard resonance, pedal effects, lid simulator, reverb, sound output effects, and more.
